Sometimes we tend to blame our frustrations on what is around us instead of looking for the solution within ourselves.
Boogieman symbolizes the internal struggle between oneself and the other, the most negative self that gets in the way, makes us feel vulnerable and pessimistic. These words are perfectly reflected in the animation video made by Nico Bonacera. A western cartoon with a dark atmosphere.
The song was written by Lessus years ago with a demo titled 'western'. Later, and once the lyrics were written he changed the song to Boogieman and sent it to Tito Bonacera who produced the song and took it to another level. Mixed by Gerard Salvia. Guitars by Raul del Mora.
