Hometown is a song that talks about how you can be sometimes frustrated and pessimistic in your own city and how much it costs things when you are with this negative energy. Then you realize that everything gets easier when you start to change things within you, instead of complaining about the environment.

The tune is energetic Funk with a New Orleans style on the chorus that makes the song pretty happy and with a party mood. The producer Tito Bonacera (producer and bass player for Nathy Peluso) and the horn arranger Dave Phybus (Canadian Sax player that played for the Stevie Wonder band) did a fantastic job on the song.
